Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Holiday CelebrationI fell in love with the Latino culture after a week-long vacation in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. With the love of family, the vibrant colors, and the delicious foods, I found myself welcomed into an amazing, warm, and loving culture like no other. For the second year, Disney brings these feelings to its guests with the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, featuring Mariachi, Norteño and other regional music groups that are as much fun to watch as they are to listen to. During the party, guests line the streets of Paradise Gardens for this joyous holiday party and to dance with some of their favorite Disney characters to Latin holiday music. Traditional Folklorico dance troupes, and Brazilian samba dancers and drummers bring the celebration to life with their brightly-colored flowing dresses and traditional music instruments. The giant mojiganga puppets are a living work of art as they stroll alongside the dancers. After the show guests are invited to join in the merry celebration and dance in the street with the performers celebrating the Christmas season. Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their festive costumes, along with the Three Caballeros: Donald Duck, Panchito from Mexico, and José Carioca from Brazil participate in the celebration. The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party is an event not to be missed.
