The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum is launching a BRAND-NEW nighttime outdoor winter wonderland with its Holiday Lights at the Reagan Library experience, opening Saturday, November 10, 2018.
New Holiday Lights at the Reagan Library
From the moment visitors step onto our property until the moment they depart, their senses will be filled with all things Christmas! Current and nostalgic holiday tunes will make you smile; the scent of yuletide treats will tease your nose; and everywhere you look you will see festive, stunning displays of light. You, your family, and your friends will experience the holidays like never before!
This not-to-be-missed nighttime holiday event will be fun for the entire family. The 60-90 minute walk around the Reagan Library campus includes thousands of LEDs, lasers, 3D projections, animated displays, interactive photo ops, and so much more. Enjoy live music and capture your holiday memories in a photo with Santa (select days), while warming up with hot cocoa and other holiday treats.
An American Christmas
In addition to Holiday Lights, the Reagan Library is pleased to announce that An American Christmas is back! During the day (10am-5pm), guests will enjoy a tour through our indoor exhibit featuring 25 trees decorated to celebrate the defining moments of America’s road to greatness, from the Revolutionary Era to today. Each tree reflects the life and times of American society and culture during each decade between 1770 and 2010 and beyond, thus tracing the evolution of America. Through the use of lights, ornaments, and decorations, each tree becomes its own piece of magnificent art. Also on display will be a collection of beautiful hand-crafted Menorahs that were given to President Reagan while in the White House.
An American Christmas will be open to the public from November 10, 2018, through January 6, 2019.
Admission to the An American Christmas exhibit includes admission into the entire Reagan Museum, the Air Force One Pavilion, and Pompeii: The Exhibition www.reaganlibrary.com/pompeii). A separate admission fee will be charged to tour Holiday Lights during the evening. www.reaganlibrary.com/lights.
