DIY The Good Dino Arlo Recyclosaurus Craft
We didn't really have a plan for our Recyclosaurus when we started. We just grabbed some recyclables from around our house and created our Recyclosaurus on a whim with a little imagination. Check out our DIY The Good Dino Arlo Recyclosaurus build below!
(Note: We used a hot glue gun to secure the pieces of our build.)
Mitch was in charge of cutting out the eyes and feet from an egg carton.
While Kevin added pupils to the eyes with a Sharpie marker.
We used two toilet paper tubes to create the legs and a milk jug for the body.
Two paper towel tubes made the perfect Recyclosaurus neck and tail.
After Lewis attached a tin can for a head, we painted our Recyclosaurus green like Arlo.
Once the paint was dry we attached the egg carton eyes to finish our craft.
We just love our new DIY The Good Dino Arlo Recyclosaurus craft!

How to Enter:
Recreate Arlo from Disney•Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur,with recycled materials from around your home, then submit your creations to me via social media. Don’t forget to tag me (@stacymolter on all platforms) so I can find you and your amazing creation, and use the hashtags #GoodDino #Recyclo
You can create the Arlo seen in the video below, adding you own creative ideas along the way, or feel free to come up with your own unique idea. The only rules you have to follow are: 1) use your imagination; 2) work carefully; 3) HAVE FUN!

- 1/25 – Recyclosaurus contest kicks off!
- 2/12 – I will unveil our own dino build along with process photos.
- 2/22 or 23 – Winners are drawn for the contest will be drawn!
